The Task Group On Gays and Lesbians

Created in 1997, this task group attempts to help parishes understand and minister to the gays and lesbians in their midst. Recently the task group has created a Pastoral Guide on Gays and Lesbians which is awaiting printing.

PFLAG Ottawa provides a comfortable open atmosphere where families, friends, spouses, gays, lesbians, bisexuals and trans persons can share their feelings and experiences. These informal discussions allow us to gain new perspectives. The PFLAG Canada website also has many resources to help LGBTQ as well as their family and friends.
